A Need

By ways you moved I determined the need to search.
In your eyes I saw a longing with every justification !
The goal you had set was not to remain out of reach.
Mind and body wanted to lose control to distraction !

Pain of the past was to be forgotten in pure abandon.
Senses and spirit wanted to be given to soulful play !
Nothing could halt the journey which had now begun.
It was in ecstasy all demons were forbidden any say !

How could any who cared refuse an advance as this ?
How could I neglect a duty, to bring a positive calm ?
I realized I was able to assist from the very first kiss.
