It should have been the happiest day of her life
She walked down the aisle to become a wife
What happened next occurred so very fast
For this new bride was caught up in a bomb blast

The explosion was heard and she was a mile away
Let's get out of here to her hubby she did say 
Out of the church they both decided to run for cover 
Hoping the congregation would look after each other

To the people of Beirut my heart goes to all of you
Something really tragic for that much is so true
The wedding of this bride will be remembered for sure
