A Poet's Nightmare

A poet had a nightmare after writing a horror poem,
About helpless captive poetry in a ghastly ghost town.
A place where things were not what they seemed,
Where everything was hideously written

This domain was a living hell for this dedicated poet,
And just when he thought things couldn't get worse.
He disturbingly discovered his latest horror poem...

So clever Shaun. I don’t know how you managed to type those words like that. I must confess the second to last word I can’t read. Probably my dyslexia but I can’t work it out for the life of me. I did get the sensation of being trapped suddenly in a mirrored world. Clever clever write x
Gwen many thanks for your kind and always warmly welcomed comments.
And for somebody who has dyslexia you and your engaging poetry are doing more than a grand job on here.
And just for the record and the mirror!!
That last line reads...
Not only upside-down but was also rankly reversed.
Hope that clears things up and you can sleep easy and contented tonight!!
I'll see you soon for we're off to Scotland for a break and thank you Gwen for all your uplifting moral support and gifted poetry you generously share for one and all on here.
I wish you well my poetic and gifted pen-friend and see you soon.❤️
Yes, I think I can read behind the lines on this one Shaun. Fantastic poetry. A deep sense of imagery was amplified by the picture. Sorry I have been away for so long. Peace to you.
