A positive pathway
Could I close my eyes in darkness ?
Should I doze off amidst my dreams
Would it carry me far from existence
where nothing is as it ever seems
If I lay long enough in slumber
can I chase my blues away ?
only rousing in a perfect moment to face a beautiful normal day
So wake me up when it’s all over
but until then please let me lie
I shall be content in my chimeras
as my feathered wings soar the sky
Yet when the world has found it’s freedom I shall hear the celebrations
Only then I shall stimulate my senses to join in the party of the nations
Hybernating like God’s creatures
is the solace I shall find
Sleeping in my delightful daydream
beyond those shadows in my mind
Happily in harmony, ignorant of the truth
Reliving my reveries back in the days of my youth
It is time for me to lay down and rid the wretchedness of today
but I will return to reality when there is a positive pathway
