A Puppy, A Kazoo, And Halloween
These photos I look at every day of my life are the finest that I’ve ever seen;
They bring back the memories of our special love, “The Puppy, The Kazoo and Halloween”!
The first one you’re sitting on top of our couch, your red leash beneath you unfolds;
The most beautiful puppy that I’ve ever seen, barely just four months old!
The second you’re sitting with your head all atilt, a strange sound has entered your ears;
Your photographer played her magic kazoo, so you would stay put for the picture so dear!
The last one was taken, at the place of your Vet; she threw a large gala for Halloween;
You and your Brother, dressed up as Docs, with the cutest smiles that I’ve ever seen!
I treasure these photos more than my gold; they are priceless beyond compare;
Especially now, that they’re all I have left, for you are no longer there!
I cry every day, as I think of our past, and how our souls fell completely in love;
I pray that someday, I’ll join you again, in the blue Heavens, so far up above!
