A Sad Story

He pegged his heart out on
the kindest moon
Came down to lend a hand in
doom
Threw soul colours out
to sparkle gloom, though
I always knew
He would leave soon
And for a while
His colours shone, his
honeyed hands shared
bouyant song, he lent his
smile to those with none, he
rained his love in beams of
sun
And all the while the kindest
moon
Begged his return from worlds
of gloom
And one day soon he was no
more
To walk again on mortals
shore
But I see always kindest
moon, she shines her smiles
on endless gloom
Says worry not...his heart I
love
He waits for you in worlds
above
For kind hearts can't survive
too long
In fire ice and maddened throng
So he sparkles colours
On my sky
Do not despair, he did not die,
but
My own heart now
Is icy star
Which beams a cold from
outer far, too far to ever find
kind moon
Who stole his colours back
Much much too soon
