Poem -

a scattered life

titters tatters,
to explain my life,
scattered.
highs and lows like flotsam on a tide,
all off in different directions.
this is how my world,
my life feels,
stretch Armstrong has nothing on me.
I only have 2 arms, 2 feet and 2 legs,
how am I meant to go in 4 different directions,
all at once,
as everyone around me does their very own merry dance.
thoughts and feelings spread all around me,
grasping and clasping whichever I can,
to put back in for my minds eye to see...
scattered, loved and battered is the life of me .
