A Simple Tribute
Gedesoned sentences cover my floor
They are the forgotten
The fallen
The heroes of war

They are the frozen leaves
The decaying disease

They are often overlooked...

Frozen In time
Forged like steel in rhymeΒ
Where embers once burned
They are soot

Battalions of syllables
Forgotten miracles

How they crunch underfoot...

Now reanimatedΒ
In future timeΒ
They are the monsterΒ
Of Dr. FrankensteinΒ

Stitched up at the seams
From part memory
Part dream
