A SIMPLE TRUTH
If I could take a pill I would
To end it all I would, I would
But it's not just me, no it's not just me
And believe me that's so understood
But my heart is just an open wound
That can never heal in this mortal
gloom
And I can't find peace in this new
warped world
Since you left us here alone
And to those who say it will all pass
soon
You have no idea of my inner soul
And if torture is the price to pay
Then I'd rather leave his lighted day
But it's not just me and that's
understood
I am torn in two and I don't feel good
But I love you too so I sit and pray
God help me find a way to stay
