A Soulmate, A Lover, A Friend

True friendship is sacred
A lover is not a friend, for love comes
From the heart and not from erotism
Conversely, a friend oftâ times is not
A lover, but one with whom a bond
Far greater than two
Interlocked bodies, exists
Then, there is that rare combination
A lover and a friend that
Satiates your physical and
Permeates your heart
Then, the culmination of all,
A lover, a friend, a soulmate
One who brings you to ecstasy
One who you can trust your most sacred secrets to
One who is the other half of your soul
