A Taste of Honey

Taste of Honey
I sat in Row D
before PC ,
and watched the play
as you do,
from my privileged,
un restricted view..
A schoolgirl
at loggerheads with
her floozy mother,
another..
dysfunctional family,
shes preggers and going
to drop a multi racial kid,
with the help of her best friend.
who's a little limp wristed..
it couldn't get any worse..
I cant find a moral to
this play other than..
Dont rely on men..
they're not that rated..
Look after number One..
dont bother tasting honey..
its tainted..

Fab write Pauline, I feel the pain and the hopelessness ?
I saw the play yesterday, fab portrayal by Helen, Jodie Prodinger, fab jaz accompaniment, but it screams adolescent all the way through like a toddler in a supermarket grates on your nerves....
I think I felt the same about the film with Tushingham in it..I think that's what it's about, the angst of un realised life..
