A Thoughtful Year(Something Different)

Happy New Year!

As time's whip

thrusts forward and quick

to be pulled back,

another year rounds down

by the sound of it's crack!

We all look for shared signs

wether a giant lowered ball

or fireworks illuminates skies

holding to heart 2016

as every minute moment passed

in our eyes.

I say with deepest truth

with every year in past 

my resolutions spilled through tooth,

this year....I don't make a selfish goal

of weigt loss financial woes

or perhaps building upon love,

this New Year's resolution 

is right, just as body flows with blood.

I shall reach out to others in need

for mental health in words we bleed,

I want to give and not recieve

so it is and so it shall be

a thoughtful year for my fellow man.........indeed.
