A true friend

It is important in your life
To have at least one very true friend
This person you will find 
In times of need you can depend

You may not see them very often
But in the distance they are there
Then again, might meet you everyday
Its just the fact you know they care

They have got to know you for a reason
I do believe thats true
When you have a private problem
Its the one you will turn to

This life can be so challenging
You should never face doom alone
If your great friend lives so far away
Just contact them on their phone

You will always have them in your thoughts
No matter where you go
& If it is there turn to need a friend
Then they will be sure to let you know

You may meet them in your childhood
Years may go by without a word
Neither of you will loose your
Friendship
The thought of that would be absurd
