A tryptich

In the portrait may I never age in the portrait may I never fade,
Might I never arrive my destination,
Can I stay here in my simplicity and prolong this inactivity and linger longer if only I could,
the callousness is not for me dont want it's hollow victory,
I drop out I clam up the backlog can pile up,
I'm bringing a halt to all proceedings,
I'm treading water unperturbed while mayhem reigns on all around.
I've been clasping hand on bended knee I've been coming here more frequently,
for I was startled by the myriad of things,
I felt a burden lifted from within I found another dimension what an awesome vista I was beholding,
What tranquil soaring spire this is what tranquil flowing estuary,
Of ebony and ivory but black and whites not all I see,
Now I've a talisman now I'm replenished there's no more ado.
Out of the region far above the clouds all things celestial dance,
And on the horizon with flag unfurled the cavalcades will come,
The cavalcades will be here,
There coming in harness they come with panache,
My second sighting now and then,
My second sighting coming round again,
On the threshold my flame is rekindled on the threshold the flame didn't die,
For now I am steadfast for now I am diligent,
Thats why my betrothed that's why my intended thats why we are prosperous too.

Wow Frantic One,
That is really intense, and deep. Fantastic writing. I could feel the emotion throughout.
Loved it!
Matthew.
Thanks Matthew just a preamble about being spiritually uplifted
You're welcome. Thank YOU.
You are really a terrific writer, and I always look forward to seeing you pop up on the Recent Entries thingy.
Great job!
Matthew.
Thanks Matthew I've just posted something spiritual....juxtaposed with something inciteful a deliberate ploy of mine....
Dont know why though.
I think it's an example of our constant changing moods.
I really love this, can identify with the feeling and meaning in your words. I, too, have found another dimension which anchors and calms me and gives some meaning to the meaningless trivia that is existence. Thanks for sharing ?
Thanks Marion for your comments.
It sums up in three parts how I can withdraw from the everyday stress by connecting with a higher power. And remembering what's important unconditional love.
