Poem -

A WAITRESS SMILES

Is a waitress smile pretence or real ?
Something to ponder as she brings out your meal
Take for example my waitress Bobby Sue
Took up waitressing as there was nothing else to do

Bobby earns minimum wage and works hard for her tips
Shows you to the table and brings out your chips
Her smile is pleasant but what secret does it hide ?
Is she just being friendly or really crying inside

Bobby Sue my dear I was a smiling waitress too
Learning how to smile was something I had to do
I had secrets that was for certain and sure
Best to smile I thought as the customers demand more
