A War of Time

They say time changes us.

What will we be,
In a thousand long years?

Will there still be hatred,
Or will love win this war?

Will there still be hungry,
Living in the streets?

Will there still be racisim,
Or will acceptance soar?

Will there still be prisoners,
Or will the World be free?

Will we still discriminate
Against the weak and poor?

There will be:
Love, and peace, and hope.

We will live in harmony.
And peace, and strength, and love.

Only time will tell.
