A Winter's Sigh...
I can't explain the toiling 'twixt two souls
As they clamor
To be together, as one
The magnetism tremendous, when Love is real
I cannot help myself
I have no resistance
Or explanation, for this Love I feel
She's more than the blue, up in the sky
More far reaching
Than our sensibilities
Dare deny,
It's like the snow on quiet mornings
As the wind, ever so faintly
Brushes the rooftop
And creates a loving comfort
In the quiet
Of a winters sigh,
This Love's our blanket
Which we honor
By wrapping ourselves inside of it
And if the sun
Refuses to shine
This Love of ours
Won't compromise
For the warmth we feel
Will last
A lifetime ...
