A Winters Tale

The snow came down
around all of the street
it was many inches deep
where the neighbours came to meet

On the street corner
together they came young and old
to share with each other
so to keep warm from the cold

In winter communities come together
forgotten are the issues that divide
uniting the rich and the poor
so all can overcome the tide

Wish that was all true
that all would live in peace
wanting to love and love alone
so harmony would really increase
