Poem -

A wish from woe.

I may have caught a star by night, my pocket full aglow,

I may have held it all so tight, and made a wish from woe

For many miles between us sort, to keep thee away from you

But strong in faith this little star, makes wishes oh so true

And as I wept like sparkle tears the night once black was fair

Inside my grasp, in full delight was held with upmost care

That little star was burning full, and bright the pathway come to be

And as I gazed, to full amazed , you standingĀ  front of thee

That little star had claimed in hope a lovers kiss to tell

And as I wept in joyful tear, was happiest it fell.
