A WORLD BEAUTIFUL

She could see a world of splendor...
A world where the sun danced with the rain...
Where clouds smile and stars sparkle...
Where people and animals laughed and mingled...
Where there are butterfly kisses and rabbits playing without a care...
A world where people got along...
A place where dreams became real...
Where nightmares didn't exist...
Where people were full and never hungry...
Where freedom was growing old and enjoying the trip...
She could see a place she couldn't touch...
A world beautiful filled her thoughts...
Hugs...

Invigorating write which is deep and thoughtful emphasising your current prevalence to produce poetry with purpose and reason. Loving your work.

Hi Sis Sparrowsong Such beautiful imagery in your poem
magical i would say ,but the end i feel a sadness of a worldÂ
just in her thoughts and  imagination
A world she can not be in, and so bittersweet  (my interpretation)
For me an excellent write and a favorite! Â pinnedÂ

Hello Sis Cherie...
To me what truly sucks is that we were close to something so much better...
It was at our fingertips...
Heaven on Earth could have been a nice welcoming...
When you return to place...
What would you rather see?
People fighting or a pleasant atmosphere...
Many times I would go home and walk right back out the door...
While you're waiting on the Lord's return...
You still have to live here...

Hello Sis Debs...
You interpretation is right on...
She's not afraid of not seeing it...
She understands the serenity to accept it...
She thought people would just want a taste of it...
Like a gourmet chef waiting for a crowd that never shows up...
Thank you for your comment and support!Â

Hi Sweet Sparrowsong....It's sad that such a world only exist in her imagination
Hello Sweet Rose...
It is sad...
Reaching for something that's just beyond your fingertips and stretching as far as you can...
You just can't touch it...
Thank you for your sweet comment...
Glad you enjoyed!Â
