Poem -

About Her.

The make up she applies

Hides the pain in her eyes

Damned by the alienation of her peers

Every night she sleeps in tears

Waking up to the sadness in her thoughts

The words leave her with scars like gun shots

Walking in the hall with her head faced to the ground

Her room is the only place where she is safe and sound

She gets lost in the music on her phone

Screaming the emotions that can't be shown

She is approached by a boy asking to be friends

She smiles and that's when it begins
