About Sue

I want to forget her
My mind won't let go
I want to stop!!  loving her
But my heart just says no
I think hard of the reasons
That I do feel this way,
and all of those reasons, they come to me
with an image of her face
Our time together was to short,
but time that I held dear,
and in those brief days, I found
I grew quite fond of her
But I did something that scared her
She has gone away
Now the pain of the suffering
is the price that I pay
and a deep hurt of realizing
with remorse and sorrow,
that for her and myself, us together,
there is no tomorrow.
She is treasure lost,
lost to the sea,
far beneath the surface
of an ocean of sadness,
a sadness for something
not meant to be
