Abracadabra of Alchemy

I heard them whistling thru the old oak woods
Chanting clandestine conjurations
Beneath blackened hoods
As I held my breath in utter dismay
eerily evesdropping I couldn’t run away
Thirteen thwart hags trudged and trampled in a ring
weaving words of hocus-pocus
with shriek shrill worshipping
I dare not move a muscle betwixt and between this witchcraft wailing that I watched on the green

They danced and pranced in the pale moonlight
devouring potions to energise excite
Squawking and squealing yells of yowls
Awakening hibernating creatures and the branched Barn Owls
My heart was pounding within my chest as I sensed the sheer sorcery from this coveted crows nest
Hoodoo voodoo and mumbo jumbo
Acracadabra of alchemy
As each spell spiralled with such snake-like hisses of wizardry

Swirling twirling tresses of smokiness bellowed everywhere from the midst of the ring in the midnight air
What an earth were they doing?
and did I really want to know ?
I should grab my chance to flee this  ghoulish glow
In tattered torn ebony black
every old jezebel had a hooked humped back
Big bony bare-footed bowed biddies in euphoria intoxication
bewitched me with delirium and delectation

Oh my God I could not believe my eyes
such a frightful scene in this spiritual demonize
All of a sudden and from out of the blue
in this obscure occult hullabaloo
an explosion of fireworks erupted up high
then each and every one of them took off into the sky
They didn’t notice me tho I thought they may smell
my frozen fear as I was as scared as hell
