acceptance

I am not afraid Of what the end will bring
I have it on good authority I will hear the angels sing
The end it holds no secrets
I know what I must face
But I know I am prepared now
And I will face it with good grace
I will not take a shortcut And finish it myself
No matter how bad it gets
Or what effect it has on my health
The last months I've realised
What a strong person I can be
Travelling around the world
Has helped me now find me
As my mind loses control
And my body starts to give in
I know now with my babies love
This war I can can mentally win
