The accidental traveler

The breezes in China 
will be soft and warm.
The hotel so far away.
The days ahead 
will slowly pass.
How could I leave you again.
I left you sleeping in sweet peace.
A  kiss upon your head
and I was gone.
How will I sleep
When you are not here
To hold me safe in bed.
I left you a note
On the table.
To remind you 
of the dog and vet
To water the plants
And check the mail.
What I did not say
Was You are the  sun
At the center
 Of my small universe.
The harbor I safely call home.
The wind that lets me fly.
Its no wonder 
I love you
