ACHE RIDGE
Unreal guppies in a paper-mache pond
Sleeping pretend, snuffing chum from starboard
Off an awkward boat.
Epiphanies bereft of affection, kissing Us on the cheek
Like a golden bandit, smarter than God
Because it doesn’t give a Damn,
But you suffer, because the Light
Is The Light.
And You Like.
