I felt everything in that moment
Like my senses had awakened

Of my faceless face

Until the moment I lost you
Leaving nightmares
conundrums
Screaming ghosts
and wicked means,

I wasn't to know that such a love
Would fade away the light

Once leaving this heart
In the depths of night,

I watched again and again
as you rolled across my integrity
Soaking wet with memories,

Tears really do taste bitter sweet
When the love of your life
Breaks the heart and takes the beat,

We parted ways in silence

And yet in silence
the world became so much more
violent,

And I am no longer numb to the pain

The pain of losing you.
