I think that you're referring to 'Nicomachean Ethics' and although that does have a relevant play here because of Aristotle..... I'm pretty sure that the quote comes from his toying around with his list on humanities Virtues...... But I'm not sure.... as a writer I just retain so much information that I seem to have little quotes like these readily available to be able to interject in context.......I only know that the thought itself was inspiring enough for me to spew out the words you found above!!
