Adapt in life?

Adapt is a word I use almost everyday
Coz nothing in this life ever turns out precisely as it does say
So we have to change our plans to suit
Alter our arrangements & transmute
Like buy some insoles if your foot is too small to fit the boot

Nothing in this world of ours
Is exactly as it seems
Tho you may hope & pray it is
But that will only be in your dreams
So use that little word I love
Just fiddle around abit & ‘Adapt’
I don’t think there’s much you buy
That turns out as it should be mapped

Try your hand at being creative
You will solve the changes in the end
There’s nothing our handiwork can’t achieve 
Tho it may drive you around the bend

Or it may be something that is organised that’s turned out completely wrong
Then ‘Don’t rock the boat’,
‘Go with the flow’
Don’t make too much of a song!

Sit down, take a moment, slowly count from one to ten
Reevaluate the situation 
& Start all over again ?
