Poem -

DEVIL DAYS

Sadly sickening with sadness
The rocks of reality
Firmly weighted his already broken back
He could not move
Did not desire to move
Fell down on the ground
Soundless

Mocking angels crowed and laughed
Crowding his vision
Sang songs of undreamt dreams
Air bubbles of impossibilities
Spewing confetti
The truth of lies
The lies of truth

While mourning demons took
his hands
With grim reverence
No need to gloat

And he...
Unmoving
Unseeing
Uncaring
All knowing

Smiled.
