Poem -
Addiction
This addiction, is my worst enemy
It Has gone from days, months, to almost 2 years
And has brought me many tears
It's taken over my life, it is taking over me
But I know right now its just not meant to be
The consumption is overwhelming
Without it what would I be
But with it, it leaves me emptiness
and complete misery.
Many times I have known,
That I have to let you go
But I continue to torture myself
and I am really all alone.
Why is it that we hang onto
The one who doesn't care,
I just have no more to give
i have my own life to live
So with this voice inside me
And all the strength I have left within
I'll push myself to move forward
Because I have my life to begin.

So true, can be addicted to a person who is not good for you or just not right for you. Â Very emotional write, well done. We can always learn from each relationship what is ok and what is not ok for us.Â
