Aeons Past

Far flung the galaxies,
In vistas sublime!
Dangle like frosted
fruit,
On a dark matter vine.
Each with an iris,
As the pupil draws light.
Peers away from Osiris,
And the depths of the night.
Gravity recurring law,
Light; the mercy of love.
The music manifest I saw,
Restoring order above.
As I gaze at the structure;
Of the universe unknown,
I ponder aeons past,
Place the had been sown.

This is a lovely poem Jim. It is deep and it delves into the stars and the night. Some fantastic lines...if I have to choose any favourite lines (which it is hard to do cos they are all so good) then this really jumped out at me:

This one is stunning. And many galaxies look like cells as well, and, in other words, could the whole universe be like a human body?
