AFTERWARDS....
I went to visit him in the
hospital
Afterwards....
He sat by the window
Gazing out
I looked at him....gazed in....
There were strangers in his
eyes
I didn't know any of them
He never came home again

It's a collection of feelings from a collection of events and life experience Tina...it can be one of the worst kinds of death for families...losing their loved ones to MH, dementia, brain damage, brain tumours. I work in it also...hugs 💕
Awwww... One of my close friends lost her daughter to brain cancer at the week end. Her whole personality changed before she died. Anything to do with the brain robs people of who they really are before death claims them x
Oh god...so sorry Tina...how do you EVER get over the death of a child??. ...poor lady. Yes the whole personality can change...used to nurse a man in community and my god...he was a different character by the end! Xx

My friend is much older than I am and her daughter was an adult but to lose a child at whatever age that child may be must be the worst ever feeling. I know that my nan was never the same again after my mum died. It was a slow but steady decline all the way to her own death 5 years later.
