Ahead of Schedule Consciousness

There's a certain eeriness I crave
The feeling of being alone before everyone else wakes up
Whether it's at a sleepover with your friends
or waking up before the sun and 
before the rest of the world opens their eyes.
The fog in valleys that makes you feel like you're driving over mountaintops.
The best loneliness because you know it will be short lived and you can 
soon tell whoever wakes up about your endeavors of arising earlier than them.
But my favorite part 
is being able to take a nap knowing that when you wake up you won't be behind on the day.
