Ahh Democracy

I have an insatiable affixation that exhausts my confusion.
The afflicters of my nation continue intrusion.
There is both an illusion and those eluding.
The facts are loosely looming,
The attacks byproducts of a fueled feud brewing.
Why is not awareness blooming in place of the brooding?
Perhaps deceptions misdirections more soothing?
History plainly asserts the discernible truth.
Victory blaming skirting public dispersing rebuke.
Quite the fluke we have our consistent victor consistently pressing boundaries, averting internal dispute.
Chosen naivety merits us heavy tariffs upon vengeance debut.
Thus, what is one to do?
Dare I to refute if astute to compute what these echelons do?
Even if I were to I ask who else could too answer could only be few.
Esteem held high, where the steam flies high, from the steaming pile of lies, of every silver medals innocent slandered cries.
Reiterated theme to despise, regurgitated behemoth surmises, peaceful nations robbed in surprise,
Diplomatic creations sobbed in disguise.
The devised guise we're fed, we shovel down with pride.
Then we hide and writhe lifting our morality high while we whine and cry for the race riots to subside.
It's our own ignorance weaponized.
We jest our minds to justicize justice and just, adjust.
Forsaken truth is always reluctant of internal thrusts.
Bless our nations blind trust.
Lest we wish to take note oppose and be crushed.
Ahhh, democracy.
