A.K.A

You know them one way or another.
The guy who wiped your tears when you cried; the guy that made you writhe in pain and pleasure and scream into the starry night sky; the guy you watched crawl to your feet and beg because you couldn't appreciate how hard he would always try, also known as the guy who, no matter what you wear and what you buy and the endless love you promised to supply, always felt the need to ask “Why?”; the guy who said it'd be fun to have your brain fly after you said you were shy and made you confess about the days you felt like you  died, then left the next day without even saying “Bye.”
The girl that would always dance and twirl; the one you promised to give the world; the girl you let hang onto your shoulder when she stepped off the coaster and hurled; the girl who would always kiss your lips after she licked her chocolate-vanilla swirl; the girl who slept in your bed as you boldly buried her bare body between your arms and sweetly whispered savory words you'd only tell somebody who had promised to be your girl, also known as the girl who tore out your heart and cackled as she watched you collapse to the ground, your heartstrings unfurl; the girl that choked out the air in your brain and made your eyes whirl; the girl who complained to her friends about never once being somebody's pearl.
You know them one way or another.
