Algebra of Love
Often
I sit and reflect...
just why it is
that two beautiful people
who give everything
and more to love...
rarely, ever find each other?
and on that very rare occasion
that, the do
are they really ever satisfied?
can they really ever live
happily ever after?

This for me is not so much a formula like 14x = 2x + 60 where x equals the power of attraction. It's more along the lines of - is the act of falling in love better than that of being in love.
Beautifully expressed and your first lines are so of the poet. Reading it has definitely made me reflect my dear friend. I think as poets we live with love every day. And as you say we must sometimes dare to speak. Very emotive words dear Shirley. 🌹
