Alive and dead 🙏

Betwixt and between being alive and dead
As we all cling on to that survival thread
And at times there is a slippery slope where we have to skid and sled
Though death is just a word, everybody does dread

Our fate of the future lies in one’s destiny
And that my friend is an absolute mystery
We are all just walking that tight rope trying to stay alive
Within those threats to kill us off as we fight to survive...
