the strings, not the person behind
the curtain..I have control here in my hand
and in times of adversity..in times
of excess alcohol or too much pie

do  shoot the messenger
if they should utter
it's not all about you..
for it can only be about  me..
I bring you not a contradictive note
nor a vessel with a pestle 
with the poison of distress
a vase that contains an asp
I labour under no other name
