Poem -

All Dawn's Colours

I think maybe
you would understand
if I told you that
my eyes can barely open
these days
the blacks and whites
too drowsy
the dawn colours
too lousy
To contemplate

that all the dawns are shamed
by me
embarrassed by the fall of me
so that colours never stay with
me
these days

that my eyes seem barely
open
all the lids half closed and
broken
the blacks and whites
too drowsy
all the coloured dawns
too lousy
To contemplate

Being Me

Hi Marion...this is beautifully, beautifully worded. I felt every single word. It is a horrid place to be so I wish you well and hope that soon you can see the colours again. Bless you x
