Poem -

all faded awy

                                      All faded away.

You came into my world as shining light,
Bright light that brightened my life,
That light I wished to have,
But when you left, all faded away.

You brought joy, happiness and love with you,
Special moments that become tomorrow’s memories,
Love that existed in my imagination,
But when you left, all faded.

I was lost in love, with no hope to love gain,
But you came filled with love and shared it.
I couldn’t believe that such love still exists,
You taught me to love and paved a hope path.

Sometimes I was troubled and confused,
But your love was overwhelming and clear.
As I was afraid to let in to love, believe again,
Patiently you waited, still loving willingly.

Finally I gave in, convinced that you are true,
Believed I wasn’t dreaming, convinced you are the one,
The one I wished for, been longing for,
Finally I was in love again.

But all faded away as you reflected your true self.
My love for you became my weakness,
The true you was bitter and distasteful,
So much lessons and efforts erased by pain.

After, all became nothing as you went away,
All faded away as you said “I am done with you”,
All became dark and very dark.
The hope and love you gave, became endless tears.

I was back again where I started,
Troubled and confused,
Hurt and with no hope,
All faded away.
