All for Her

I would give all my happiness and take all her pain so I could see her smile

I would take all her sadness just so she would be okay

I would give away the little hope I have left if that meant she would never feel agony washing over her like the tides of the sea bombard the beach

I'd change her tears into laughs so she wouldn't reach for that bottle on her bedside table anymore

And if I could I would shelter her from every awful thing in this cruel world and save her from all those nasty demons in her head

Because I've never met anyone who deserves more in this shit life than she does
