Poem -

All that I ask

All that I ask

I am all but forgot

amongst relics of fun

I've given my worth

I've finished my run...

No more children

tapping my keys

no more grown ups

yelling kids "please"

My once beautiful

fingers of song

have shed themselves

like nails gone wrong...

I decompose

with each year gone

I sing to you now

it won't be to long...

Withered and broken

I've led a good life

brought many smiles

relieving your strife...

No regrets

I've seen it all

years at this park

having a ball...

All I ask

when you hear piano keys

is pause for a moment

remembering me...
