All in a World of just each Other

     All in a world of just each other, teachers and friends and sisters and brothers
Not much to do and nothing to lose, a perfect blend of the puberty blues
Pulling demerits and pushing our luck, look up from your desk and the clocks somehow stuck
Sports and the burnouts, the nerds in the band, I remember them all like the back of my hand
There every morning and gone at the bell, the buses and cars I can recall so well
All of these things seemed like permanent fixtures, all of our faces had quite a nice mixture
Casual dances and formal engagements, oh how we'll learn to cherish those days
Senior trip and nights forgoten, don't forget the mouths of cotton
Though now our walks have somewhat varied, the future never really scared me
Most of us are quite content, only a few had some regrets
4 short years have left there mark, we learned to love and drive and park
Just don't forget this Class A class, the grades we knew would never last
But friendships stick like glue and mothers, All in a world of just each other
