All Lies

All Lies

They said they'd help

but we all know

we're all on our own

fighting for our very souls

They said they'd rescue us

but we've heard that before

several of us have been lost and missing

and it's still happening

They said they will free us

but we've been slaves

hoping beyond all doubts

That one day we will rise above all these lies.

we will learn to say what we mean

And some day,we will quit making false promises

sticking to better principles

History is full of small and big lies, in our childhood fill us the head with nonsense that we later discover that they are a falsehood, in the universe of lying there are white lies and lies that threaten intelligence and against the nature of men and women who make up humanity, we were promised many things but none of them was true.

Cleo says:

“Dijeron que nos libró pero seguimos siendo esclavos que viven con la esperanza de un más allá alejado de todas las dudas, esperando que un día la verdad se levante por encima de todo las mentiras”

We are lost as sleepwalkers longing for that hand saving rescue us from all dangers, but instead we found just a void surrounded by air, lying and infamous iniquity.

The poem of Cleo seeks the truth instead opens a door to the doubt while denouncing falsehood.

A greeting.

Hello Cleo, a touching write. I read this and think of two people who have produced lies of support and care and I realize iam a soul on my own in your words sort of speak. Well done it is very relatable in my opinion. Oh and I tell you this only because I would hope other's would tell me those typos that Twisted Angel spoke of were on the seventh line meant to say several and eighth line tefering to still happening. Well done hope all is well on your quest of helping others.
