All The Bethany's' Have Vanished...

all the Bethany's’ have vanished
with the coming of the storm
frumping the sky where the peach
was driven out-
with a pitch of gray
on the talons of
a thunderclap
with a black smile
for springtime.

and all the picnics
were gone.
