Poem -

all the mauled sky

oh, save me from the tiger he
says
what tiger?
that one up there, see??

he isΒ eating the good stars and
clawing at moon, his yellow eye
eye's me
he'll yet be my doom

ah, i see him, i say,
him of black thunder stripes, his
tail acurled slyly round venus and
mars
he is terror incarnate
oh god what a sight
but look now i say...
do not cower in fright

his jaws chew the fermament
breaking the night but,

through all the mauled sky
there now seeps through such light
