Poem -
All The Sams Before Me
Title comes from Jerfeys track record of girlfriends the last 2 being samanthas and this reflects apon me discovering...
Certainly was to me surprise
Vacant neon in my chest
Tears began to fill my eyes
unconfirmed reserve despite all request
Seems all along I was unaware
To the extent into you invested
Thinking I wouldn't so much as care
Now that standards level has been tested
Found out you mean a whole lot more
Than as of yet I have admitted
Turns out I was foolish to somehow ignore
How much to you I am really committed
Shocked by how much it actually hurt
And I'm not talking just to my ego
I hit the ground and tasted its dirt
Now I wonder from here where do we go?
