ALL WE HAVE IS US
We could pray for the world...
If the world doesn't care about us...
What's different from what we already know from within our very own walls?Â
We could ask for the hedge of protection for each living thing...
We could pray...
To see something mighty and beautiful...
To see people do good for one another...
As long as we are here...
Why can't we try for something so much better?
Hearts will be broken still...
Tears will still roll...
What if there's no one to blame?
We could pray for us...
All we have is us...

We have let each other down...
We are all programmed in a way...
Many things we have nothing to do with...
Some people see things with tunnel vision...
Another form of prejudice?Â

That's how many see it...
A spiritual healer doesn't believe in God and they don't have a soul?
In the early days when people lived to be seven hundred years old which was actually a young age....
People having babies at one hundred years old...
People are living to over a hundred years old now...
There was a time that if you weren't married by the time you were twelve and had babies by fifteen chances are it wasn't going to happen because if people lived to be thirty years old in many cases that was old...
We are all in it together for a little while...

Charity begins at home, for all we really have is "us". Some of "us" share ourselves with others, but we need to keep the major part for ourselves. For as you say, "All we have is us".
