Alone

I live alone 
l think alone
l sleep alone.
As my heart beats,
I search my soul -
In the solitude of me.
Amidst all the thoughts
Locked deep in my mind 
There are no memories ,
Only childhood dreams.
I hold on tight - as I live alone.
I search my soul in the dark,
The child in me still cries.
Yet my solitude is where 
find- 
The strength to still
love, live and laugh.
